    Hello! I was born in 1957 and I remember this great song! A+++++ This song still sounds great today 7-18-2010 A+++++. Yes indeed, most of the so called modern music and or today’s music is junk, trash, crap, and filth. Thank you so much for posting this great song! A++++

    One pic seems to be of an antique loudspeaker spider which some might mistake for a snapin 45 record adapter.
    Good sound in stereo in my ultrasone S-logic headphones!

    Like many have already commented, this is bittersweet. This jingle ulocks happy childhood memories for me. I was in 1st grade. I remember it well (too bad it was for a cigarette commercial). Hearing this song now, 40+ years later, it brings such clear memories and feelings of that time. Wow. Amazing how music can stir the emotions and evoke memories and feelings.

    I love this song, but like someone pointed out, it’s a bit bittersweet…reminds me of a better time in my youth. They really don’t make ‘em like this anymore. What happened?

    Ah, this is really the last part of the 50′s reaching into the 60′s. Makes me smile and reminds me of drive in movies at night.

    They were a NYC studio group; unfortunately, only the band leader (Phil Bodner) ever got any credit. As the album cover shows, they were on the Dunhill label (pre-ABC Records).

    This along with “Music To Watch Girls Go By” would be playing over the PA system at stores like “Treasure Island ” or “Richway” while I would be tagging along with my Mother. How well I recall it.

    Their commercial is where I first heard the song too. It stuck in my head for nearly 40 years until I heard it on the radio a couple of years back. I e-mailed the radio station to find out the name and finally the mystery was over! Then I found the original B&H commercial here on YT but it was pulled a couple of months later.

    As a kid I’d come home after school and my parents would be in the kitchen with the radio would be on and this is the sort of cheesy 60′s song that would be playing. Lord, I miss those days!
