Do video cards have to be that massive? sheesh oh and in Canada the prices wouldn’t be $200-$300 more like $400-$600 even though the exchange rate is pretty much the same.

For 3d dont need the best video card because the video card is just for the viewport in 3d programs.
to work in 3d is better have like 8gbs memory and some cool quad core will be fine

I turned my 7 year old notebook into a Windows Home Server with some USB drives connected to it. It’s a little bit slow, but it works.

Sounds like a file's gotten corrupted. As a test, publish a little movie to a disk and try it on another computer. You might consider reinstalling Movie Maker. You can download it from Microsoft.

For XP:

They don't have a replacement for the regular MM for Vista only a replacement if MM won't launch at all. There is Windows Live Movie Maker which works on both XP and Vista. I've never used it.

You might google Movie Maker Forums and post this question where people with lots of experience with Movie Maker will see it.
