Don’t you mean so much more expensive? You know how to make a mac? Take the same components as in a PC and rewrite the BIOS. A quick flash and it’s the exact same thing. Apple is an OEM with its own OS, nothing more. It doesn’t have different parts.
I have this laptop, and I’m on it right now. I love it.
If you are wondering weather to get a Macbook or this well
if you have the money and don’t mind paying $700 more for almost exactly the same laptop with bettere software, get a mac. If you’re normal and don’t want to spend over $1,000 on a laptop get the Vaio.
Apple makes the best computers. Period. You can even run windows on them. BUT they are SO much more expansive than PC’s are so that’s why I stick with them.
I have the HP pavilion dv6000, and it’s a piece of crap…seriously I don’t understand how a laptop can be that bad. It’s been with me for a year now and it’s breaking down on me (changed the fan and the motherfreakinboard this months).
I want to get a new laptop, better performance and more RELIABLE…is the Sony Vaio reliable enough for that chunk of money required to get it?
Hypex, it is worth the money. I have an FW450J and it’s the best laptop I’ve ever owned. MAC is a nice machine too. Both built very sturdy. If you buy now, Sony will upgrade you to Windows 7 for free when it comes out in october.
I own the Sony Vaio FW11ZU laptop. It is awesome!!! Now when I go to work and have to use a Dell computer and keyboard it just feels so feeble compared to my Vaio. I am definitely Vaio!!
Money isn’t a issue with me either. I done my homework unlike alot of people seeking to purchase a laptop. When I looked around and found this one I bought it. Great laptop.
