HP Compaq nx6110 – Dismantle

This is my third pointless video like my keyboard and mouse dismantle.     This laptop has always troubled me since the day i bought it, i never thought that HP is such a substandard company

    @JLcomputing thats fine but I suppose I’m thinking in terms of this vid being a tutorial of sorts (thats why i used it and it saved me money – thanx JLC) then stressing the danger of static when hoking around any computer might save noobs from irrevocably damaging their boards.
    Just a thought anyway – once again great vid

    @AnEclecticMusicFan I had a ground loop band around my ankle to ground me to stop me screwing up the chips, also i tried to avoid touching them, it all still works anyway

    good tip with the black and white leads to the adapter but man… shouldn’t you be grounded and not be fingering all the chips on the pcbs – if only to show kids that might attempt to take aprt their machines that static kills chips ….DEAD

    I thought you were going to take the screen off, and plug it into an external monitor?
